Ready to get some hands on experience in corporate event planning? Read this first!

Each semester, Eventive chooses ONE student to intern within their company*. The selected intern will work closely with the owner of Eventive and will not only learn the ins and outs of event planning, but also owning and running a business. That being said, we are looking for a hard-working individual who is excited at the prospect of learning new things. The right candidate should be someone who is ambitious, creative, and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty along the way (event planning is fun, but it’s not always as glamorous as you’d think!). If you’re the kind of person who is always coming up with fun event ideas, great marketing strategies, and ways to stand out, then you’ll be a great fit!

Here are some of the areas our interns are involved in:

  • Event Planning

    • Learn the proper process for planning an event- from start to finish! We do this for a living so we know what works great and what doesn’t… and we’re ready to share that with you.

  • Event Marketing

    • While we don’t market our clients’ events for them, we do market our own events. A good event isn’t successful if nobody shows up, so we’ll show you the best ways to do that!

  • Research

    • A lot of research goes into event planning (vendors, venues, case studies, and more!). You’ll be responsible for helping us find the right people, the right places, and the right strategies for our events.

  • Internal Marketing

    • Learn how we get new clients!

  • Communication

    • Communication is crucial in this industry. Whether it’s an email or a phone call, we’ll teach you the best way to contact those who make each event a succcess!

*Please note that this is an UNPAID internship and students must be receiving credit from their school in order to be considered. Our office is located in Auburn, MA and student must have transportation to and from the internship.

Sound like the perfect internship for you? Please fill out the form below. Pay close attention to spelling/grammar (that’s so important to us) and make sure to fill out the form thoroughly. We look forward to hearing from you!
